This page is only active when variable frame rates are selected on page M6

The FPS setting can be more easily accessed on page U1 or on the LCD Menu Panel on the camera body.

VIDEO-LVL determines whether the camera will compensate for the change in video level due to a different exposure time than the chosen format (24P in this example). For example a 12 FPS setting entails twice the exposure of 24 P.
ACCUM - short for accumulate: no compensation will be done, resulting in overexposure when shooting at slow speeds. CONST (GAIN) - short for constant: the gain will vary to compensate for exposure change CONST (SHUT) - the shutter will vary to compensate for exposure change
VF SCAN determines whether the camera will compensate for the change in the image refresh rate
NORMAL - the image is refreshed at the format rate (24P in this example) ACCUM - the image is refreshed at the FPS rate, resulting in a flickering image at low FPS speeds.
