The USER MENU CUSTOMIZE menu allows you to select and edit menu Pages and/or menu Items :
- PAGE EDIT allows you to copy entire pages (like M6, P3 etc) from other menus and store them in the USER menu. The idea is to gather frequently used pages in the USER MENU. The USER MENU can contain dozens of pages, but many Camera Assistants don't use this menu at all.
- USER P1 EDIT allows you to copy individual line items (like AUTO BLACK, SHUTTER SPEED etc) from menu pages and have them all on the same "USER PAGE". These items appear on the camera's LCD PANEL MENU. The idea is to access frequently used items via the LCD PANEL.
There are actually 5 possible USER PAGES (refered to as USER P1 through USER P5). This allows for up to 45 items on the LCD PANEL. Most Camera Assistants will only use the Panavision Default Settings on P1, the first USER PAGE.
